This document outlines Unitec’s progress during 2009 and provides a number of examples of how Unitec has put into practice its aim of transforming lives through outstanding career-focused education.

This report charts Unitec’s progress against its four key strategic aims: meeting the needs of the community, enhancing the student experience, innovation in teaching and learning, and being an excellent business.

In particular the fact that Unitec has created a $8.43 million surplus while maintaining a successful course completion rate of 79%, among the strongest in the tertiary sector, shows that Unitec offers a viable and effective educational service.
