Real Estate Function – 15th November

There has just been another successful real estate event organized by the Management and Marketing Department for the real estate industry. This was a great opportunity to hear a presentation by Tim Jones, a solicitor with Glaister Ennor.

His timely presentation about “best practice” in the Real Estate industry was focused on the top 5 tips for drafting the real estate sale and purchase agreement. The topics covered the parties, warranties v. conditions, deposit payments, parties signing, modifying general terms, and adding of special terms. These tips will now help those participants write their agreements to the highest standard.

Real Estate Program Leader, Mary Crotty, said, “For Unitec it is very important to have contact with the industry, therefore it is a pleasure to organize events like last night.
