Bitstrips – Fun and Social Media Brand
Don’t you just love Bitstrips. It is not often used by brands in social media. We think there is an opportunity here. Why?
This is because Bitstrips enables 4 key components of the 5 S Model.
Source 2: Emotional Social Media Brand: it helps the brand express emotion in a fun and indirect way. It depersonalizes it in many ways. As the character evolves, so does the emotions.
Source 3: Self-Orientated Social Media Brand: it allows the brand to evolve the self. Often brands are seen as flat impersonal worlds. Why not characterize them in this real virtual space. The self can be as same or as different to your customers.
Source 4: Personal Experience Social Media Brand. As customers start to engage with the characters and cartoons; dialogue is created. The brand can learn about the experiences of the consumer. They can respond to them and be part of that experience. This is how relationships evolve.
Source 5: Relational Social Media Brand. Why can’t unreal cartoons be a real basis for a relationship? Take the brand out of the functional.
